I always want the Master bedroom to feel like a sanctuary – a place to relax and wind down.
We knew we didn’t want plain white walls in the Master, and we wanted to carry through the same aesthetic from the facade, which is why we designed this custom timber bedhead, which features vertical lines just like the black metal cladding of the facade and the feature timber cladding in the entrance space, painted white.
Little did we know how fiddly it would be to paint – but it was worth it!
Always looking to add contrasting tones and textures, we chose the uber soft Far North carpet from Carpet Court in “Jardine”, which is 100% wool, sourced from New Zealand and the sheers from Diy Blinds – which both provide a sense of softness in the space.

We love our double-shower in our Master ensuite. There is lots of natural light in the bathroom, with a large window and a skylight above the shower.

These tiles were our boldest choice – and we are so happy we went with our gut – we think they look brilliant!

There is plenty of storage in our home – including the walk through robe in the Master. It has a moody, sophisticated feel with all-black cabinetry.
