I’m an international marketing coach, top-ranking podcast host, speaker, interiors lover and black coffee drinker.
When I think about the guests who I’d love to have on the show, it comes down to people who are doing work that brings them joy. This is something that today’s guest, Meredith Gaston, encapsulates in the most thoughtful, serene and intuitive way.
Meredith is an internationally acclaimed best selling author, artist, speaker and passionate wellness advocate. You may have already seen her lovingly illustrated books, her paintings or her work in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Network Australia and, having recently celebrated the publication of her 10th book, Meredith continues to grow her prolific and diverse creative practise.
In this episode, Meredith and I chat about taking a gentle approach to business, what this looks like for her and how she trusts in the magic of life to guide her on the journey. Meredith shares her intuitive approach to opportunities that come her way, working from a place of inspiration and setting goals versus being open to opportunities as they unfold.
Meredith shares so poetically about gratitude, celebrating the little things, the importance of having fun and flowing with life. It was an absolute pleasure to share this conversation with Meredith and I know you’ll come away feeling so inspired by her beautiful approach to life and business.

[13:00]: Meredith shares about her approach to life and business, her nourishing home life and mindful, quiet practise and how she is always compelled to create from that place.
[16:00]: The present moment is the place to be. Having goals and dreams is wonderful, but being here now is the best way to look after our wellbeing and nourish ourselves and those around us.

[23:15]: Meredith shares some experiences when she didn’t listen to her intuition and how they are the times when she’s learned the most.
[25:20]: When Meredith was doing the hard yards, she celebrated the little wins which helped keep her positive. As she did this, she met the right people and found the right circumstances around her. The power of thankfulness.
[27:30]: Gratitude makes you so much richer in a moment by changing the way you see things.
[28:45]: Meredith would say to her younger self, have fun, don’t have unrealistic expectations of yourself. Flow with the changes and with life. The dots connect themselves when we are in that space.
