As business owners, it can sometimes feel as though we spend our day making decisions! I know sometimes I wish I could take a decision holiday! When it gets to Friday night and ordering takeaway, I often ask Koden to just choose what he wants and get enough for me – I’ve made enough decisions for one week!
Making decisions is part of being a business owner and a leader – and with it comes the skill of discernment: “the ability to judge well”.
And with making decisions also comes the need to say “no”, which I know can feel hard. We don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings, or feel as though we are letting someone down, rejecting them, being rude or ungrateful or even missing an opportunity that we will regret later.
In this episode we look at how to make saying “no” easier – and how to take the emotion out of it.
Without being a sleeze bag or pretending to be anyone you're not (promise!)
