First you have to truly believe in what you have to offer.
Fear of people not being happy once they have bought from you or wanting a refund often come from a lack of confidence in yourself or your offering. And if you don’t believe in what you have to offer, why would your audience?! Look at the evidence: what great results or feedback have you had in the past? And I promise, when you start getting more runs on the board, the conviction in what you offer grows too. Back yourself.
Stop fearing being told ‘no’
Worried about getting a “no”? You are GOING to get many! It’s just part of business. I’ve been told “no” WAY more than “yes”. So once you accept that, you can move on to making a “no” an educational opportunity. Why was it a no? What didn’t resonate with the potential customer? Was there something they didn’t understand? Use this to help make your marketing better! And be careful what you make a “no” mean – it’s not that you’re a failure, a loser or not good enough.
Realise that selling is supporting
When people are browsing your website or getting in touch with you about what you have to offer, it’s typically because they WANT to buy from you. Your job is to support them to make the decision that they want to make! You can’t walk into their house, grab their credit card and enter the details on your website. So lose the fear that you’ll come across as pushy or force them into something they don’t want to do. Chances are they just need a little reassurance before they make the decision. Make it a fun experience and you’ll both feel GREAT about the sale.
