I’m not going to sugarcoat it: I have found the past few months pretty hard!
The last episode I recorded about business and a baby was when Lando was four months old. He had slept for a lot of the day up until about three months, and at that time I recorded that episode, I was getting to grips with no longer having pockets of my day to dive into work.
This coincided with the end of the time that I had prepared for taking my own version of maternity leave – about three months. I had most of my content planned until the rest of the year, podcast episodes relatively organised with some re-casts happening and with Lando due in September, and December typically being a quieter month in my business each year, I thought I would hit the ground running late in January.
Well in this episode, I discuss how exactly that plan went, what I have found best and hardest about the past few months, with Lando almost one year old now.
I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the traditional and ongoing custodians of the Kulin Nation - the place I call home, and I pay my deepest respects to their Elders past and present.
